_Are the camels picketed, or not?_ immĕnās ikerāfen, mer war
ikerāfen? (43.)
_Shall I tie the horse or loosen (him)?_ agiagh aïs, mer aregh?
[Shall I _do_ the horse, or undo him?]
_Let him eat that fine herbage_, áyit adíkshe téshe tindegh
tahōsket.
_Set (ye) the horses free_, símbarit íyesan.
_I set free_, asímbaragh.
[Note: _Igan_, Kab., he tied, fastened.
_Agiagh_ is pres. or fut. of _iga_, 39.
_Irra_ means “to shut” in Kab., but “to loosen and open” in Temght. Two
verbs seem to be confused, namely, Ghad. _efer_, shut thou, Temght,
_eher_, which represents Kab. _err_, related perhaps to Shilha _iwerri_,
he returned (_w_ is the _r_ of Ghádamsi?), Kab. _irra_, he brought back,
came back: but Ghad. _er_, loosen thou, which is Temght _ar_ or _ur_;
connected perhaps with _eheru, egheru_, loose. See 63.
_Teshe_ = Kab. _teje_, grass, &c.
_Isímbara_, he set free. See 54.]
