The original edition of the book included an orphaned Contents entry
for “Anthony Van Corlear Diplomatic Mission”, pointing to page 99. No
such chapter exists in the book and the entry has been removed in this
edition.
Typographical errors corrected. However, grammatical decisions, choice
of words, and seemingly missing words have been retained as originally
published.
Inconsistencies in hyphenation were left unchanged.
