_Horner Family_ (Vol. iv., p. 131.).--Is it true that the following

rhymes apply to one of the Horners of Mells?

"Little Jack Horner

Sat in a corner,

Eating a Christmas pie,

He put in his thumb,

And pulled out a plum,

And said what a good boy am I."

The plum being 100,000_l_. I have been told a long story on the matter

by Somersetshire people.
