COMPOUND ALOETIC PILLS.

Take of hepatic aloes, 1 oz.

ginger powder, 1 dram,

soap, ½ oz.

essential oil of peppermint, ½ a dram.

Let the aloes and ginger be rubbed well together, then add

the soap and the oil so as to form a mass.

These pills may be advantageously used for obviating the _habitual

costiveness_ of sedentary persons. The dose is from 10 to 15 grains.
