Cut, slice, and mix well together, in the state of very gross
powder, the following ingredients:
2 oz. of yellow saunders,
2 oz. of coriander seeds,
2 oz. of orris root,
2 oz. of calamus aromaticus,
2 oz. of cloves,
2 oz. of cinnamon bark,
2 oz. of dried rose leaves,
2 oz. of lavender flowers, and
1 lb. of oak shavings.
When properly mixed, stuff the above into small linen bags, which
place in drawers, wardrobes, &c., which are musty, or liable to
become so.
