I hope that in what has gone before, I have been able by precept and
example to help not a few young people. Possibly I have been just a
little crude, and mayhap rough-shod, but that, let me assure, has been
far from my intent.
Now remains to be given a brief summary, in the simplest of all
possible language, of what I have gleaned from wallflowers in other
phases of the social world.
