part of the argument being put forward, and thus help comprehension.
The spellings "expirare"/"exspirare", "expiratio"/"exspiratio" (with
various inflections) occur, and have been left unchanged.
Formulae on pp. 9, 10, 22 foot, 23, 24, and 25 have been rendered in a
readable format.
All examples of "aer" (and other noun-cases) have been amended to "aër".
p. 8 §7 third last line: "quantitarem" replaced by "quantitatem".
Some missing full-stops have been silently replaced.
