Once Horace fancied from a man,
He was transformed to a swan;[1]
But Carthy, as from him thou learnest,

"Jam jam residunt cruribus asperae
Pelles, et album mutor in alitem
Superne, nascunturque leves
Per digitos humerosque plumae."
