Some of the matter contained in the following pages has been included
in papers and lectures, and after frequent requests from various
sources, I have decided to submit the whole in book form.
The topics touch upon the various phases of the value and utility
of the “film” as an indispensable ally of the education and library
authorities, capable of being used in the interests of both.
Other subjects of vital interest have been included, all coming within
the scope of the projector. The film as an educational agency is now
recognized, and the following chapters will be read, it is hoped, with
interest.
