To remove rubber cement either sponge or dip the cloth in carbon
tetrachloride, Stoddard solvent, gasoline, or benzene. If the stain has
dried, rub in petroleum jelly or dry-cleaning soap to loosen it. Then
apply the carbon tetrachloride or other solvent.
