Cambridge, August 5. 1850. _Unicorn_ (Vol. ii., p. 136.).--King James I. abandoned the red dragon of Henry VII. as one of the supporters of the royal arms of England, and substituted the unicorn, one of the supporters of the royal arms of Scotland.
