Cast on from 96 to 104 stitches according to size desired. Knit in
garter stitch for 20 ribs or 40 rows, always slipping the first stitch.
Bind off loosely, fold across the width, and sew up bottom and sides
securely. Finish with a beading of crochet and a shell edge, run in
elastic or ribbon, and draw up around ankle.
