Twenty-three colonies of Italian bees made 160 lbs. of extracted
honey to the colony last year up to July 15th.

I commenced last spring with one swarm on three combs, and they were
not crowded at that. I extracted 55 lbs. honey, increased to four
that have 22 lbs. average of their own stores.
