Repeat last round 6 times, cut yarn.
=TOP=: Ch 3, join to form a ring, work 8 d c in ring, join. =2nd
ROUND=: Ch 2, 1 sdc in each st, join. =3rd ROUND=: Repeat last round.
=4th ROUND=: Ch 2, 2 sdc in each st, join. =5th ROUND=: 1 sdc in each
st, join, cut yarn.
=POMPONS=: Work 8. Wind yarn 20 times over a 1 inch cardboard, slip
off cardboard, tie in center, cut both ends. Trim into shape. Tie
pompons in position as illustrated: =EYES=: Wind a scrap of Black
yarn 4 times over index finger, cut yarn, slip off finger, tie in
center and attach in place. =MOUTH=: Cut 2 sections of red felt; each
section ⅝ x ⅜ inches. Round edges of one side. Overcast 2 sections
tog and sew in place. Finish with ribbons.
