This is the first time I have written to this paper, and I would
like to tell about Christmas. There was a Christmas tree here; I
got a few presents, but not many. I have not any pets to speak of.
I am staying at my grandmother's now, and go to school, and read in
a Fourth Reader, and I am nine years of age.
