ST. PSALMOD, OR SAUMAY, ANCRORET.
HE was born in Ireland, and, retiring into France, led an eremitical
life at Limousin, where he acquired great reputation for his sanctity
and miracles. He died about 589. See the Martyrology of Evreux.
