Note: Numbers in curly brackets relate to the footnotes that have
been transferred at the end of the book (as endnotes). This must
be a 1920 edition, although the year is not printed on the book.
A previous edition (4th edition, 1882) that I happened to see,
included a further Ιntroduction and Notes written by the writer
that are not included in this edition, although they are referred
to in some footnotes. These footnotes must be ignored. The tonic
system has been changed from polytonic to monotonic. The spelling
of the book has not been changed otherwise.
Σημείωση: Οι αριθμοί σε αγκύλες {} αφορούν στις υποσημειώσεις των
σελίδων που έχουν μεταφερθεί στο τέλος του βιβλίου. Η έκδοση αυτή,
αν και δεν αναφέρεται στο βιβλίο, πρέπει να είναι του 1920. Σε
προηγούμενη έκδοση (4η έκδοση, 1882) που έτυχε να δω, υπήρχε μια
επιπλέον Εισαγωγή και Σημειώσεις του συγγραφέα, που δεν
περιλαμβάνονται σε αυτήν την έκδοση, αν και αναφέρονται σε ορισμένες
υποσημειώσεις. Θα πρέπει να αγνοηθούν. Ο τονισμός έχει αλλάξει από
πολυτονικό σε μονοτονικό. Κατά τα άλλα έχει διατηρηθεί η ορθογραφία
του βιβλίου.
