_Pimlico_ (Vol. i., pp. 388. 474; Vol. ii., p. 13.)--I find the two

following mentions of Pimlico as a public place of entertainment:

1. In _A Joviall Crew, or the Merry Beggars_, by R. Brome: first acted,

1641, at Drury Lane, edit. 1708:

"To Pimblicoe we'll go,

Where merry we shall be,

With every man a can in 's hand

And a wench upon his knee.

And a begging," &c.
