NOW, when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his

house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, *he

kneeled down upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave

thanks* before his God, as he did aforetime.

_Daniel 6:10._

EVENING, and *morning*, and at *noon*, will I *pray*, and cry *aloud*:

and He *shall hear my voice*.

_Psalms 55:17._

IF my people which are called by my name, *shall humble themselves*, and

pray, and *seek my face*, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I

hear from heaven, and *will forgive their sin*, and will heal their

land.

_II Chronicles 7:14._

Neglect praying, and you will backslide.

*2nd. Everyday let God say something TO YOU.*

SEARCH *the scriptures*; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and

they are they which testify of me.

_John 5:39._

THY *words were* found, and *I did eat them*; and thy word was unto me

*the joy and rejoicing of my heart*.

_Jeremiah 15:16._

STUDY *to show thyself approved unto God, a workman* that needeth not to

be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH.

AS newborn babes, *desire the sincere milk of the word*, that ye may

grow thereby.

_I Peter 2:2._

THY *word have I hid in mine heart*, that I might not sin against thee.

_Psalms 119:11._

AND take the helmet of salvation, and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is

the *word of God*.

_Ephesians 6:17._

THY word is a *lamp* unto my *feet*, and a *light* unto my *path*.

_Psalm 119:105._

THESE were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received

the word with all readiness of mind, and *searched the scriptures daily,

whether those things were so*.

_Acts 17:11._

Set apart at least ten minutes a day for your Bible and let God speak to

you.

THIS book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt

*meditate therein day and night*, that thou mayest observe to do

according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy

way prosperous, and then thou *shalt have good success*.

_Joshua 1:8._

*3rd. Every day say something FOR GOD.*

WHOSOEVER therefore shall *confess me before men*, him will *I confess

also before my Father* which is in heaven. But whosoever shall *deny me*

before men him will *I also deny before my Father* which is in heaven.

_Matthew 10:32-33._

THAT if thou shalt *confess with thy mouth* (not your influence) the

Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him

from the dead, thou *shalt be saved*. For with the *heart man believeth*

unto righteousness; and with the *mouth confession* is made unto

salvation.

_Romans 10:9-10._

LET your *light so shine before men* that they may *see your good

works*, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

_Matthew 5:16._

YE are my *witnesses*, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have

chosen.

_Isaiah 43:10._

WHOSOEVER therefore shall be *ashamed of me and my words*, in this

adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the *Son of man* be

ashamed.

_Mark 8:38._

WHOSOEVER shall *confess that Jesus is the Son of God*, God dwelleth in

him, and he in God.

_I John 4:15._

SING unto the Lord, bless his name; *shew forth* his salvation *from day

to day*.

_Psalms 96:2._

RETURN *to thine house, and shew* how great things God hath done unto

thee.

_Luke 8:39._

AND he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny

himself, and *take up his cross daily*, and follow me.

_Luke 9:23._

*4th. Every day do something FOR GOD.*

THEREFORE my beloved brethren, *be steadfast, unmovable, always

abounding in the work* of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor

is not in vain in the Lord.

_I Corinthians 15:58._

GO ye into *all the world* and preach the gospel to *every creature.*

_Mark 16:15._

AS we *have therefore opportunity, let us do good* unto all men.

_Galatians 6:10._

I MUST work the works of him that sent me, *while it is day*: the *night

cometh*, when no man can work.

_John 9:4._

LET him know that he which converteth *the sinner* from the error of his

way *shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins*.

_James 5:20._

AND they that be wise shall *shine as the brightness of the firmament*;

and *they that turn many to righteousness* as the stars for ever and

ever.

_Daniel 12:3._

AND whosoever shall *give to drink* unto one of these little ones *a cup

of cold water* only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you,

*he shall in no wise lose his reward*.

_Matthew 10:42._

IN as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my

brethren, *ye have done it unto me*.

_Last clause. Matthew 25:40._

AND *let us not be weary* in well doing: for in due season we shall

reap, if we faint not.

_Galatians 6:9._

SAY not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold,

I say unto you, *Lift up your eyes*, and look on the fields; for they

are *white already to harvest*.

_John 4:35._

HEREIN is my Father glorified that *ye bear much fruit*.

_John 15:8._
