FAB. CCCCXX.

_Hungry Dogs_ and a _Raw Hyde_.

A Company of _Hungry Curs_ Discover’d a _Raw-Hide_ in the Bottom of a

River, and laid their Heads together how to come at it: They Canvass’d

the matter one way and t’other, and brought it to this Issue in the

Conclusion, that the only way to get it, was to Drink their way to’t.

So they fell to Lapping and Guzzling, ’till in one Word, they Burst

themselves, and never the nearer.

The MORAL.
