FAB. CLXXII.

A _Hound_ and a _Mastiff_.

There was a Man had _Two Dogs_; One for the _Chase_, T’other to look to

the _House_; and whatever the _Hound_ took Abroad, the _House-Dog_ had

his Part on’t at Home. T’other Grumbled at it, that when he took all the

Pains, the _Mastiff_ should Reap the Fruit of his Labours. Well, says

the _House-Dog_, That’s None of my Fault, but my Master’s, that has not

Train’d me up to Work for my self, but to Eat what others have Provided

for me.

The MORAL.

and Servants do not Do as they should do._
