FAB. CLXIV.

Two _Travellers_ and a _Bag_ of _Money_.

As Two Travellers were upon the Way together, One of ’em Stoops, and

Takes up Something. Look ye here (says he) I have found _a Bag of Money_:

No, says T’other, When Two Friends are together, You must not say _[I]

have found it_, but _[WE] have found it_. The Word was no sooner Out,

but immediately comes a _Hue and Cry_ after a Gang of Thieves that had

taken a Purse upon the Road. Lord! Brother (says He that had the _Bag_)

We shall be Utterly Undone. Oh Phy, says T’other, You must not say _[WE]

shall be undone_, but _[I] shall be undone_; for if I’m to have no Part

in the Finding, sure I’ll never go Halves in the Hanging.

The MORAL.

_They that will Enter into Leagues and Partnerships must take the Good

and the Bad One with Another._
