FAB. CXX.

A _Lyon_ and a _Bull_.

In the Days of Yore, when _Bulls_ liv’d upon _Mutton_, there was a _Lyon_

had a Design upon a Mighty _Bull_, and gave him a very Civil Invitation

to come and Sup with him; for, says he, I have gotten a _Sheep_, and you

must needs take Part on’t. The _Bull_ Promis’d, and Went; but so soon as

ever he saw what a Clutter there was with Huge, Over-grown Pots, Pans,

and Spits, away he scowr’d Immediately. The _Lyon_ presently call’d after

him, and Ask’d him, _Whither in such Haste?_ Oh, says the _Bull_, ’tis

High Time for me to be Jogging, when I see such Preparation: for this

Provision looks as if you were to have a _Bull_ for your Supper, rather

then a _Mutton_.
