WILLIAM PINNOCK,

Aged forty-four, from Essex. This man was convicted of having set fire

to some hay-stacks; but was found to be insane, and sent here, where

he has been confined about six years. At present he is very quiet

and well behaved, and evinces no insane symptoms, excepting frequent

soliloquies, which seem as much the result of habit as of any other

cause.
