Aged about forty-five, admitted four years since. This patient is a
Scotchman; was tried for breaking into a dwelling-house and stealing
some wearing apparel: but was found to be insane, and sent hither. He
supposes himself to be a very exalted personage, and assumes the rank
of “Head General of the whole world.” But notwithstanding his military
character he is perfectly quiet, harmless and inoffensive.
