As before reported, the investigation of the blight fungus and the
nursery inspection work are under the direction of Dr. F. D. Heald.
Mr. P. J. Anderson has given special attention to certain field
investigations, including the work at Charter Oak. Statements of some
of the principal features of the work here follow:
