Wistfully down the street she strolled,
From side to side her eyes she rolled,
Till far away her eyes she cast
On the grateful form of a man at last.
She smoothed her hair and she quickened her pace,
Hoping she’d meet him face to face;
But when she reached him she felt awful sore:
’Twas a figure of wax in front of a store!
