Articles of Capitulation for three Forts at Lackuwanack, 4th July, 1778. Art. 1st. That the different Commanders of the said Forts, do immediately deliver them up, with all the arms, ammunition and stores in the said forts. 2d. Major Butler promises that the lives of the men, women and children shall be preserved intire.
