Men of a certain age

Grow sad remembering

Their youth’s libertinage,

Drinking and chambering.

She, whom devotedly

Once they solicited,

Proves all too bloatedly

Gross when revisited

Twenty years after,

Sordid years,

Oh, bitter laughter

And bitter tears!
