February 5th, 7 A.M., marched from camp and along Vaughan Road,
crossing the picket line about 3 miles to North side of Hatcher's Run,
and put up works. 6 P.M., moved a mile to the right, took position
under very heavy fire on left of the 3d Brigade, and put up works.
6th, Ordered to support of 5th Corps. While on the way order
countermanded and returned to works.
7th and 10th, Slashing timber in front of line.
11th, Line to our left abandoned during the night. 5 A.M., moved within
new line and encamped.
12th, Slashing timber in front of works.
13th, Again putting up Winter Quarters, the heavy timbers of some of
the tents being moved from the old camp.
