4. [Veśavâdiya Gaṇa]

The _Kalpasûtra_:—Kâmarddhi of the Kuṇḍalagotra founded the
Veśavâṭika gaṇa which was divided into four śàkhâs, and into
four kulas:—

The resemblance of most of these names is so complete that no explanation
is necessary.
