UTF8 text contains accented Latin characters and accented Greek

characters. Also various astronomical symbols, the explanation of

which will be found in Linnaeus' _Species Plantarum_. Although the

title page bears the date 1788, the work was issued in parts

beginning with the text and first plates in 1789; further sets of

plates were issued up to 1792; plates 35 to 43 were never published.

At some time early in the 19th century the work was re-issued, still

with date 1788, but with type reset to 20 pages and lacking the
