[Music]
On Jordan's stormy banks I stand,
And cast a wishful eye,
On the other side of Jordan, hallelujah!
To Canaan's fair and happy land,
Where my possessions lie,
On the other side of Jordan, hallelujah!
On the other side of Jordan, hallelujah!
On the other side of Jordan, hallelujah!
Further stanzas of the text are given under 'Jordan'. The tune is
reminiscent of 'Morning Trumpet' in this collection.
