AIR--_The Low-backed Car._

Let cowards shirk their duty,

And falter from the fray;

My post I’ll find, nor shrink behind,

When honor calls away.

For Union and for Freedom,

I’ll wield a sword or gun,

And take my stand, for laws and land,

Till the battle’s nobly won.
