TRAVELLING NOTES IN SOUTH WALES.

(_For the Mirror._)

Either shore

Presents its combination to the view

Of all that interests, delights, enchants;--

Corn-waving fields, and pastures green, and slope,

And swell alternate, summits crown'd with leaf,

And grave-encircled mansions, verdant capes,

The beach, the inn, the farm, the mill, the path,

And tinkling rivulets, and waters wide,

Spreading in lake-like mirrors to the sun.
