The next month, April, saw the winning of another V. C. by an Indian
officer. He was Jemadar Mir Dast, of the 55th (Coke’s) Rifles, though
he won his distinction when he was attached to the 57th (Wilde’s)
Rifles, both belonging to Indian Frontier Force.
