Come, Dolly, come quick,
For I want you to see
The present mamma
Has just given to me;
A set of new tea-things
That really hold tea.
A dear little teapot
To keep the tea hot,
And tiny white cups
With a pretty blue spot,
And a glass sugar-basin.
How nice, is it not?
And I am to use them
This same afternoon;
So Dolly I'll give you
Some tea very soon
In a little white cup,
With a saucer and spoon.
