away from you, working across band, attach yarn in 1st free loop of 2nd

FLOWERS: (Make 3): Ch 4, d c in 3rd st from hook, repeat from beg 5
times, then pull up a loop in each ch 1 across row, yarn over and pull
through all loops at one time, ch 1 to tighten st, cut yarn leaving a
length for sewing. Sew in position as illustrated. Draw elastic through
loops across back of snood, fasten ends securely.
