Since the time of "Little Women," no juvenile heroine has been better
beloved of her child readers than Mrs. Johnston's "Little Colonel." Each
succeeding book has been more popular than its predecessor, and now
thousands of little readers wait patiently each year for the appearance
of "the new Little Colonel Book."
