Punctuation, hyphenation, and spelling inconsistencies were were not
changed by Transcriber.
Simple typographical errors were corrected; unbalanced quotation
marks were remedied when the change was obvious, and otherwise left
unbalanced.
On the Title page, the copy number “92” was hand-written.
