Bobby and Betty then left the baker’s shop and took the pie home to
Mother.

_For study and play_:
To market, to market, to buy a plum cake;
Home again, home again, ne’er one baked.
The baker is dead, and all his men,
And we must go to market again.
To market, to market, to buy a plum bun;
Home again, home again, market is done.
If all the world was apple pie,
And all the sea was ink,
And all the trees were bread and cheese,
What would we have for drink?
Why does a baker wear a cap? To cover his head.
