_Chloe_ (Vol. iii., p. 449.).--In reply to a Query in one of your late numbers respecting the meaning of the expression "as drunk as Chloe," it has been suggested to me that it refers to a lady who is mentioned often in Prior's _Poems_, and who was celebrated for the propensity alluded to.
